The 21st century sure seems to have brought a lot of good ideas, projects, and work for people to do. I say this because I have seen quite an increase in the number of people who contact me for help on how to juggle all these different activities.

While everyone can benefit, I will tell you as I say to all those people who call & write: You can get out of this "doing everything" trap and is much more in the process. Here's how: 1

. DO YOU DO ANY TIME

Face it: If you could do everything, in fact none of us have to worry about anything, would we? The truth is that there is still a lot more to do than there is time to do it. When you realize that you are not going to get it all done by yourself, it is a whole lot easier to do this job that you have to do.

2. JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A LOT TO DO NOT MEAN TO ALL NEEDS

look at things closely on your "to do" or list of projects. some of it just does not need to do. Not now anyway. And in some cases, not always.

Do not believe me? Put it at the bottom of the list and leave it there for some time. You will see .

3. SAY "NO" MORE THAN YOU SAY "YES"

I do not know why, but it seems that the people who are most willing to volunteer for a new project or an increased workload are those who come to NOT have the time available to do it.

Get into the habit of saying "no" to requests for more of your time to say "yes" and soon you will have a lot more time give.

If you can not say "no" then get as much time to work on the project as you can (and give yourself a lot of time to do so).

4. Have all the ideas you want ... BUT WORK ON AN IDEA TO BOTH

Many people tell me that they have "too many" ideas: they are unable to do anything because they still to receive new ideas to work on.

The problem is not the number of ideas, that is what they are trying to work on all of them simultaneously. (See No. 2.)

You can not do that, not if you want to get anything done. So, keep the development of big ideas, but write them down and set them aside while you work on a single idea/project at a time.

5. YOU MAY NOT MAKE ALL, BUT WE HAVE ONLY

Whether for work or just a fun project, you improve your chances of success when you spend part of the workload with others.

So, the next time you are trying to do all this, remember these few ideas and do a little less ... You can just see that you get really far accomplished more in the process!

doing stop ideas people project anything yourself everythin
